I wouldn't quite call it restless leg syndrome, but my legs and feet do get uncomfortable on some of the longer flights I take. I stumbled upon these as a possible solution.I haven't had the chance to do any flying with these yet, so I did my best to test them out using an impromptu mock-up of airplane seating with my chairs here at home. These "foot hammocks" mimic you being able to prop your feet up on a small footrest, and since I'm frequently putting my feet up on coffee tables, the couch, other seating, etc., they SEEM like they could be a possible solution. One concern I have is that this gizmo attaches to the tray table attachment on the seat in front of you, so you'll want to be careful about accidentally putting too much weight on these and breaking the tray table. I'm also concerned that these may not work out as well for people outside of a certain height range. I'll definitely be taking these with me on a future flight and reporting back with more definitive results once I have have them.

I ordered these right before a trip we took, they arrived fast and we were able to take it on the flightLove the footrest as well as the masks to make it easier to sleep during the flight. As for the plugs we weren't planning on using but found them very helpful when the guy next to us started snoring 😊It's a pack of 2 and each comes with a bag to keep it organized.

I am a shorter female. My feet do not always reach the floor. Sitting for a few hours with my legs dangling can cause them to fall asleep or feel sore afterwards. Foot hammocks are a good solution. They offer a little support. I like that these airplane foot hammocks come as a his and hers set. Having each of the items in two different colors ensures that we know exactly who each item belongs to. I also like that each hammock has a storage bag. It's easy to toss these in our bags when needed and store them in a closet when not in use. The ear plugs are standard. They have a plastic case which is nice. The eye masks are lightly padded and loop around each ear. I never sleep on flights but they are useful when sleeping in hotels. The hammocks themselves are well made. The seams are well sewn. The foot rest portion is flexible and hangs down under the weight of my feet. It does not stay flat or hold its shape. This makes it easier to roll up and requires less space in our bags than hard bottom hammocks. I have also used this hammock under my desk while working on a long project. It's a good set overall. Perfect for shorter people like myself.

I travel a lot and am always looking for things to make the process easier and more comfortable. I saw these hammocks all over the place and thought I’d check one out. It was disappointing! I have muscle weakness in my legs caused by nerve damage and struggled to get my feet into them. Once I got one foot in the hammock, the weight of my leg caused it to narrow too much to fit my other foot. Because of my weakness I was unable to hold my one leg up long enough or push with my other foot hard enough to force it in. Even after I had help getting both feet in, it was still tight and my feet were squished together instead of resting comfortably. I don’t know if I was doing something wrong, or if the hammock isn’t suitable for people with leg issues but I couldn’t use it at all.

flimsy foot rest, very narrow - the eye mask was the best item in the kit.

Nice idea if you are small or in first class. I'm 6'2" and my knees pretty much are touching the seat in front of me. They are a great idea, just doesn't work for me. They look like the quality is good and they are a good value.

I know there are many of us who would love to stretch our legs on a long flight, and this airplane foot hammock seems so appealing. But once I got it, and I remembered how tight seats are these days, these just wouldn't work. That said, I did try them out at my desk, as sometimes I like to kick my feet up while there. And boy, these work pretty good there (once you figure out a way to mount them). Kicking your feet up is always a nice thing, plus it allows for some movement and positional changes. For the home or office? Awesome. For the plane? Probably pass.
