I looked all over for this kind of foam to use as padding for 1:12 scale miniature upholstery and this is the only affordable kind I found. It's much better than I expected, and just what I needed. It is easy to cut and has just the correct density for miniature work. The thinness means I can double or triple layer it when I need more but can still use it for purposes where only a little cushioning is needed.

Listing says 1" but this material is barely a half inch thick. I bought a bunch of this for a project but it's absolutely useless. Completely incorrect advertising

I accidentally bought vinyl that wasn’t already foam backed for a project on my boat. I bought this foam in 1/4 inch size and it adhered very well to my vinyl roll, as well as the wood surfaces it was also being adhered to. Worked well with spray adhesive.

This worked great for me for diamond pattern sew foam. As others noted, the thickness is not always uniform and the cut edge was not entirely straight. It was the right price for me and worked fine for the small job I was looking at

I used this to glue to auto upholstery vinyl while restoring sun vosirs in a 1980 truck. Highly recommend. The correct thickness I used is ¼"

When I unrooled the product the quality was terrible. Lots of wrinkles and the product looked like it was just cut with a bread knife no straight edge at all. The worst part however was that it wasn't even close to 1 inch and the thickness varied, at the thinnest point it was only 5mm.
