This stuff is awesome. Easy to cut, holds it's shape for the tailoring and keeps the heat in on one layer.

I ordered this so my husband and I could build a chair out of a palette. He's pretty handy, so I told him to go ahead as long as I could upholster it. This batting provided a really nice base for me to put my upholstery foam on, and it also served really nicely to help attach separate pieces of upholstery foam together by acting like a big piece of Stitch Witchery after being sprayed with a spray-on glue. After I put the fabric on top, the batting squished down so that it was invisible on top of the foam. This is the second chair that my husband has made like this, but on the first one we didn't put batting over the foam seams, which are semi-visible under the fabric, so the fact that this fixed out problem was excellent.I was really pleased that the batting held up around corners without ripping, and it had a decent amount of stretch to it. The batting really helped to define the shape of the chair, and I would definitely get this again. It's a better price than the batting I can get in my area, and the quality is great.

Believe the rest of the 1 star ratings, this isn't close to being a 1/2 inch thick, even after letting it breathe from being tightly wrapped. It is more like 1/8 inch thick. This item is grossly over priced for being 1/8 thick. My application didn't require it to be wrinkle free, but if it did, I would return it again for that reason. It was very much wrinkled, the photos from the other 1 star reviews are verbatim of what I got. I'm surprised they can continue to sell this knowing it is not even close to what is being advertised.

The price point was good. However, I wasn’t pleased with the quality of this wrap. It was much too thin for me to use on my upholstery project.

The quality is good, easy to cut even its a bit thick, it comes in one piece 5 yards, so very convenient to cut without waste.

Was not sure if I could redo my chairs but so far with enough videos and all the products available on Amazon the project is going smoothly. Batting is nice and pliable and not to thick staples well without tearing.

Like others said, the way it is folded for shipping makes a lot of creases. I could remove the creases on one side with an iron when protected by a piece of cloth in the middle. You have to wait an hour or so and it will fluff again to gain your desire thickness. Would buy again and you get a lot but still expensive.

This product was extremely easy to work with. Bonded to the foam for our sofa cushion replacement with ease after applying spray on adhesive. The thickness was perfect.Excellent product.
