It looks easy to install and is great quality especially for the price and has a little weight to it. It's a decent size and I believe it would secure very well i just had an unlevel door so I unfortunately am returning it because I can't use it but I really wish I could would have made my life so much easier.

Definitely works! I was having trouble with my pantry door because loose the little metal ball that goes in top corner of the door and since I was not going to buy another thing of those, i decided to but this lock. I love it! It looks good and very practical, also do the tricks so my kids can not longer go to the pantry whenever they want too. Super easy to install and very smooth closing the lock!

This latch was purchased for an old desk that came with my house. This desk is so massive that the people I bought my house from either couldn't or didn't want to remove this beast from the bedroom office area! Score for me because I love this desk with the exception that one of the cabinet doors wouldn't latch anymore. I ordered this bolt latch from Alise and installed it and it is exactly what I wanted! The oil rubbed bronze color matches the other fixtures on the desk perfectly and it was pretty easy to install. I will say that the screws are pretty cheap and strip out pretty easily so be careful. I had a few strip out on me but it worked out ok. I would recommend using a stronger screw and not the ones it comes with! That's my only issue with it... otherwise, I love this latch! It looks great on my desk and functions like a latch should!

I purchased these to put on my garage doors and my shed door they have been on a few months and work perfectly. Good quality and easy to install

It’s a good design it’s just that the screws provided are cheap and break or strip easily so watch out.

I used these latches on a separate piece of base molding below my dishwasher to allow access and removal of the appliance when needed. The piece of molding is held tight to the molding on each side by the latches. I didn't want to tear molding out each time we changed dishwashers. Rather than trying to "hide" the removable piece, I made it obvious with these beautiful latches. I really like the result.

If The door frame is not in the same line with the door, hard to install.
