This is perfect for anyone who wants to add a shower to their bathtub, but doesn't want to go through the whole thing of adding more plumbing in the wall for the water to get to shower hight.The shower hooks up to the side of the spigot, or spout, or whatever you call it. Anyway, it's really easy with a strap wrench to take off the old spout and screw this one on. Then, just screw the hose onto the side of the spout, then the shower head on the other end of the hose, and voila! Shower time.Oh, I forgot, add the new escutcheon ring thingy on the wall behind the spout before screwing the spout on, and put the shower head hanger where you want it.I suggest going high with the shower head holder in case someone tall uses it. I'm going to pull it down to rinse, anyway, so why make taller people crouch to wet their hair?This is so much cheaper than changing the plumbing, and I'm not staying in this house forever. I can have my showers now and not wait until the bathroom remodel, which will be one of the last things we do before the place is put up for sale so it's fresh and new for the walk-throughs.No issues, no leaks, no hassle, good water pressure, but if you want more, I assume there's a regulator that can be popped out at the base of the shower handle, but I haven't looked since it's good the way it is.For me right now, this is a real winner.

Gasket for the shower head connection is too thin, or the shower head does not have enough threads to seal gasket. Leaks profusely!

I got this totally thinking it would be a relatively straightforward DIY for me. Well turns out not so much. Haven't been able to get this installed yet. Its not because of the product but my existing plumbing will need some modifications first. I didn't realize that this spout has a built-in brass pipe within it. The 1-page illustration sheet that came with it shows that the pipe within the spout can be separated but in actuality it seems to be glued on there. At least, we have not been able to remove it.My existing setup already has a roughly 4" copper pipe coming out of the wall--that would have to be cut down to fit this new set. That means we'd have to do some pipe cutting, soldering etc before we can install this one.Anyway, I can say that I do like the quality of the materials for this set. The spout/diverter and pipe is made of solid metals while other parts are of plastic.I like that the handheld showerhead is large and comes with a holder you can wall mount.Once we can get it properly installed, I'll share pics and any new learning.

The tub faucet is one of the nicest I have seen in a while. It’s solid metal and has hardware inside. The handheld is not as durable but that is likely good since I always end up dropping them and I would rather it broke than the porcelain on my tub chipped.Currently, it is not installed since my current 60-year-old faucet is giving me trouble coming out. I am going to have to hire a plumber because it’s possible it is sweat on. With less stubborn situations, installation would be easy and everything you need is in the package to include plumbers tape. The hose is also nice quality and all metal so it should last a long time. I appreciate that there is a filter inside the handle as we have terrible water quality here. All in all, I think it’s a good value for the money.

I had to replace an old shower head in my tub and this works great. Super easy to install. It’s much better than the wall mounted head bc the hose makes cleaning and rinsing the bathtub so much easier. It appears to be well made.

I use my spare bathroom to give my dogs baths and the regular shower handheld attachment was just too short! This thing is fantastic! Installation was a snap and the hose is nice and long, plus its flexible enough to maneuver around squirmy dogs and get all that soap off. Did I really need the filter and 10 settings? Nope, but its nice to have on the occasions when this shower is used by a person rather than a pet! Works great! Looks Nice! Sprays water 10 different ways to Sunday! Definitely recommend.

I purchased this for my mum who has moved house but the shower is currently unfinished and the prognosis is that it will be a month before it is ready to use properly, this product is the perfect temporary solution.
