I've been doing a little woodworking lately and the dust was going everywhere. I mounted this from the ceiling and it seems to be doing well. I like the intake from three different sides so it's pulling dust from different directions. It's small enough and not overly heavy so I was able to hang it by myself. It is a little noisy, but not as bad as the bigger canister dust collectors. Overall, I think it was a good purchase.

Shop air filter moves alot of air and helps keep the dust down. Functions great and includes filters that trap sawdust. Good quality and includes mounting hardware. Size and weight are good for a unit this size. Good design and value for what you get. Included remote makes this ideal for mounting in an area not able to be reached and still useful.

My father-in-law has been doing woodwork for over 50 years. When he started, using a mask wasn't even a consideration for him or anybody really. Now, years later, he has some type of throat and lung cancer that the doctors say was caused by inhaling wood particulate. After his experience, even though I always wear a mask, my wife really wanted me to order this for my garage woodshop. The mounting was super simple to attach to my ceiling, although I needed help holding it up while I attached the chains. It’s heavy enough that one person would have a hard time doing it by themselves. It seems to have a powerful filtration with nearly 1080 CFM. I don't have a way of measuring that, but I certainly can tell a big difference in the air quality in my shop.I'm not really sure how the built-in ionizer works but I just know I'm breathing better air now and it's clearly noticeable. The promo page says it will filtrate up to 1,100 square feet but my garage shop area is only 500 square feet so I'm getting a quick change of air from unhealthy cleaner air. This is working just as expected and it is very easy for me to give it 5 Stars.

... the smell of sawed wood. Always have and always will, and although this will not do that much for the smell, you definitely don't want that sawdust entering your lungs -- that's bad. Very bad. This unit, which can be mounted in a variety of positions, from hanging to simply placed on a flat surface, does an excellent jobs of filtering out those nasty little particles out of the air, and uses an easily found, replaceable filter to do so. It's not particularly noisy (certainly not as noisy as a power saw) and is an absolute must-have when woodworking in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area. A nice companion to a filter mask (that I would advise still wearing as an additional form of protection). For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

This is absolutely amazing! It is a perfect size and it works great. It is very functional. It is not too loud and you definitely get the value for your money. I would absolutely recommend. 5âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

I got this to go along with my dust collector in my wood shop. The dust collector gets all the larger debris, but i still had fine dust all over in the air. now i run this along with the dust collector, and the air quality is much better. the noise isnt anything to bat an eye at. I highly recommend it.
