TABLE MAT GROUND
A complete kit to install and ground ESD and Anti-Static table mats according to ANSI/ESD S20.20
LOW PROFILE
Comes with a low profile Common Point Ground Cord that snaps to the mat and provides two banana jack receptacles to ground two operators working at the station.
THICK OR THIN MATS
The kit includes a Universal Snap Kit that can install a 10mm snap or stud into materials up to 0.375" thick mats. Comes with a low profile Common Point Ground Cord that snaps to the mat and provides two banana jack receptacles to ground two operators working at the station.
EASY INSTALLATION
The snap kit is installed into the mat with Philips head screw driver. The ground cord connects to that snap and the opposite end is connected to the center screw of an outlet

This kit installed easily and works well. But my mat is a little on the thin side, so I had to add an additional washer in the stack. The button does sit up a little high which is an issue for when I want to store my mat away. But not a big issue. I took away a star because the button kit does not screw down tight enough on the mat. I have not done an ESD test on the setup yet, so we will see.

Strap looks good, but they got the snap standard backwards. So yes it will snap into the snap they provide for you but it will not snap into a standard ESD mat as the clip has the side of the snap that is usually on the ESD mat.

It's nice to have the capability of installing a snap on any anti-static mat that doesn't have one. If your anti-static mat already has a snap, just snap the grounding wire to your anti-static mat and plug in your ground wire and wrist strap.
