Outstanding build quality, feels very high end. The micro movements are precise, the paint job on it is solid, and the machining is great. There is a rubber pad that covers the hex screws of the pan access that feels a little hollow.Functionality as a telescope mount is great. I'm getting more into astrophotography thanks to youtube channels like Astrobackyard, Nebula Photos (Love Nico's cadence) and SarahMaths (low key best humor on the subject) so I'm not the best expert at it but for all my needs it works well. I have it attached to a set of carbon fiber Manfrotto legs and it works without issues. Currently have it attached to an old telescope but looking to use a Matthews Spacecat on it in the future.Value wise, it looks like it's roughly the same price as other mounts so can't directly compare them cost wise, but if based on what you get and my experience with photography gear, this is made very nicely and is worth the price.
