The drawings that came with it were great, they have several different ways to wire it depending on the use scenario. Good quality, simple, straightforward, easy! The picture is accurate. I use as a door alarm, when door is left open longer than expected.

Works with 12/24 volts (dip switch selectable) and you can also select your timing range in seconds or minutes. I set mine to turn on a light in my storage building for ten minutes when a momentary switch was pushed. You can hear the audible click of the on board relay and see the red LED light when the timer is engaged. You also have the option to keep a device on by default and then shut something off for the timed duration. Saves battery power because people were always leaving the light ON and draining the battery. The same battery can be used to power the device AND the lights. The circuit board is well made.

These are just awesome. I bought quite a few and use for all kinds of things. One I use with a magnetic switch on my overhead door to turn on lights when the door is opened and then off in a few minutes after the door is closed. Another I put on the same switch and will close my door if left open for an hour.

This thing is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a way to trigger a circuit to come on in my car for a specific amount of time (30 minutes) when I push a button, and then shut off by itself. That's exactly what this thing allowed me to do. It can be set for anywhere from 1 second to 60 minutes, which is perfect. There's a bunch of other features in there too, but I didn't need most of them. Do yourself a favor and check out the downloadable manual from the manufacturer's web site, it'll give you a much better overview of what all the features are and how you can make use of them.Technically this thing can handle an 8 amp load, but the circuit I'm powering can draw up to 12 amps, so I'm using this timer to trigger a relay instead, the relay is handling the load while this timer handles the countdown.

I needed these to trigger the manual spoiler option in my MINI Coupe so the spoiler would stay raised. Two trigger devices were used: one to trigger the manual control feature, the other to raise the spoiler.

In my small business I work between vehicle and in-building electronics service and installations. This is an extremely versatile and dependable product as I have found with all the Altronix products. I have been concerned when recently reading that Altronix do longer manufactures this item. I hope this is not the case. I recently needed a way to provide a UPS type power backup source to a mobile radio system in a customers ambulance, while the ignition key was in the first position. The 6062 Timer was just the ticket, as if it were built for the very task!

Always Altronix delivery a #1 best products. Just cant give 5 stars because I need to see how this perform in 2 months.
