I got this to modify the light in my dryer so the light turns off after 10 minutes. It was easy to get programmed for my specific mode and timeout settings. Worked great and now I don't have to worry about the light in the dryer staying on for hours at a time until it burns out again.

needed time delay b4 a pouring operation to confirm mold in correct position. function A allowed about 1/2 second closure of limit switch feeding to trigger b4 output on going to precision timer for pour. about an hour of run time and working just as intended. great for +/-10% accurate timer function. would buy again.

Included instructions are very clear and the unit is super easy to wire and adjust. I've purchased a few of these now and they've all worked flawlessly.

What can I say? It does what it is supposed to do! The timing seems to be accurate. I'm not sure I would trust it to carry a lot of current, but driving an external relay it seems to do well.

This little gem takes the place of several ICM controls. It can even be used as a latching relay. I am using it as a cycle timer for car heater circuits. It's an A/B control with 30 minutes for the A receptacles and then 30 minutes for the B receptacles. Very important here in Fairbanks Alaska during the winter.

I purchased this GRT8-M to automatically (after designated time) turn off the bathroom exhaust fan when family or guests forget to turn the fan off. I didn't want all the conditioned air being sucked out of the house for hours until someone discovered the quiet fan was running. Because it has multiple functions, it took me a while to figure out the wiring. I attached a photo showing the wiring diagram I used for "F Single Shot." Hopefully, this saves others time if they have a similar application. The device can easily be set to turn off after seconds, minutes, or hours. We set ours to a seven-minute auto-off. Under our setup, if the wall switch is in the "On" position and the timer trips after seven minutes, the fan turns off; but the wall switch will still be in the "On" position. Simply turn the wall switch off then back on again to turn on the fan as normal.
