Time will tell about durability, but so far this little selfie stick seems to be exactly what I needed. It's very compact and lightweight, relatively robust and well-built, the rubber surface provides a good grip, it comes with a wrist strap (mandatory, in my opinion), the tripod is solid enough for the occasional timer shot or time-lapse, and - while it only extends 115mm - the actual "stick" is long enough for above-the-head shots, or to keep the GoPro raised from the ground when using the tripod. If you're looking for a real selfie stick, then get something else, but if you basically want a GoPro hand-grip with some additional benefits, this one won't disappoint.

The item was well built and sturdy, it does wgat you need it for without having to sacrifice build quiality, overall experience is above expectation.

This selfie stick has a great tire-tread-like grip on it and has a sturdy table-tripod frame with the rubber layers on the feet ends...but the lanyard that they provided can get in the way with the threading holes right along the tripod feet edges. Also, you have to get used to how the twisting-and-turning works when extending it for each selfie-stick and table-tripod by yourself. Those two cons would have costed this review a star...but the tire-tread-like-grip for added-selfie-stability restores half-a-star and rubber grooves on the feet restores another half-a-star.Also, make sure your phone case fits tight and has rubber sides, so that your phone is less likely to move around on the phone clamp. The phone clamp grips very well, but outside (or even inside) environmental factors may make using a this gadget as a selfie-stick or table-tripod a tedious and possibly scary task. Lastly, be careful taking selfies, as this gadget is not likely to save your life on risky shots. Remember these small tidbits and this gadget will be very handy, be much less likely to piss you off, and hopefully will not outlast your life.

The materials of this tripod worked well for salt water use. I still make sure to fully open and rinse but this worked well for a 2 week snorkel trip where I put a gopro on the end of it. very useful in so many different ways, I really liked this a lot better than my old one that was not intended for water use. No Rusty parts!

Connection to GoPro broke, thankfully I was in shallow water or the GoPro and all my photos would have been gone. Cheap crap that I would not trust my GoPro on. Also, tripod broke before this and had to zip tie it together.

I so wanted this stick to work for me because it came with the GoPro to screw head adapter. Sadly I'm returning it. You must be careful when closing the tripod legs as it is very easy to pinch your skin on your hand with it. It got me a couple of times. I like the weight of it though. The legs would also be a bit better if they extended out further. The tripod is very top heavy and could easily tip over.
