This threshold, ok: Transition Strip Flooring Reducer, is kind of unique with the angle and of course it is specific to the transition you need. It is thicker than the ones you can buy at the hardware store and is well made.I did not measure the drop in the doorway I was going to install it and this will not work for my intended purpose, so I made one out of wood for that project.I will hold onto it and I'm glad I have it. I will use it when I start on the next space in this crazy, 1908 Victorian house I am renovating.It is a little more expensive than standard strips but that is justified for the unique dimensions.If you need this, make sure you evaluate where you are going to install it, then I recommend it.

My wife has bad knees and we had an uneven floor between the kitchen and living room floors, about 1/2 inch difference. This caused her pain when walking over the uneven floor. This threshold has solved the problem. If perfectly makes a transition in the doorway. The grooves in the surface make it more slip resistant. Cutting it was easy with a hacksaw after marking a cut line with a speed square. A file smoothed up the edges. I adhered it to the floor with nano-tape. You could also drill holes in the threshold and secure with a screw or floor nail. Since I installed it, my wife has not complained about tripping on the floor any more.

Nachdem wir im Baumarkt nach einer Bodenübergangsleiste gesucht haben, standen wir vor dem Problem, dass die von uns benötigte Höhe anscheinend nicht zu finden war. Ein Baumarktmitarbeiter meinte sogar, dass wir diese Höhe nirgendwo bekommen würden und uns am besten an einen Tischler wenden sollten, um eine Maßanfertigung zu bekommen – was über 100 € kosten würde.Da ich keine Lust hatte, so viel Geld für eine Leiste auszugeben, habe ich diese hier auf Amazon gefunden. Und was soll ich sagen? Sie passt perfekt! Eine wunderschöne, gut verarbeitete Leiste, die genau die richtige Höhe hat. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität und dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Eine klare Empfehlung!
