I wanted to install my projector behind my sofa as it’s a long throw projector. This stand fits almost flush behind my couch needing only the width of the pole to be left out. With my particular projector, the plugs are on the back meaning I need an extra inch or two of space for the plugs to not hit the wall. The stand does flex some, taking extra time to adjust the projector into just the right spot.Sadly the adjustment system isn’t quite robust enough to resist the weight of the projector so I have to lock it in place higher than expected and then it sags down into the correct position. You do have to keep the projector in the sweet spot or else it will want to fall over if the proctor is heavy.It came with a tray and the screw attachment. (Note: I utilized an adapter screw as my projector does not have the same mounting screw as this mount.)Overall I’d recommend if your projector is under 10lbs.

The best part of this device is the functionality . Base is sturdy which is important. I used the shelf and found it very flimsy for the price. I moved on and select another product which was much sturdier. I probably should have returned the product, but I am sure I can find someone that this product will suite their needs.

It's okay for home use but not for professionals. The post is attached to the base by one skinny bolt which would break if the stand was moved or disassembled frequently. Other parts are weak.The height is adjusted by turning a coupler on the post. I ordered two stands and one stays at an adjusted height but the other does not. I don't have the grip of a gorilla but I tightened it with all of my might and after placing a lightweight ceramic figure on the top plate it sank all the way down to the home position after a few minutes. I tried repositioning and tightening a couple more times but with no luck so the ceramic permanently sits at a very low position which makes the stand worthless.Overall appearance is fine but the quality is lacking. One stand works for me but the other is unusable. I would not purchase this stand again.Finally, the stand is greatly overpriced. Instead of $70 each it should be closer to two for that price.
