Amana routing bits are some of the best bits in the world. They are sharp, tough and will out cut and outlast almost any other brand period. My only complaint is that they are so damnxx expensive!!

This tool is awesome. I could not have been successful without it. First, I roughed out the pockets to full depth in multiple passes with a .125 carbide upcut bit using an inlay kit guide without the bushing. Then I switched to this bit and completed the pockets in two passes (depth). Super sharp bit easily cut this end grain cutting board like butter. Highly recommend if you looking for precise controlled cutting for intricate designs. I also used the flush trim bit to create the inlay pieces on my router table. The results are stunning.

This is a fantastic router bit when used properly. It seems fairly fragile so I'd never try to cut more than a few mm of depth at a time or cut too quickly with it. But taking shallow cuts and working slowly up to the pattern, I'm able to make recesses for illuminated guitar truss rod covers. It cuts so cleanly and thoroughly that it left a shiny surface on the wood I used it with. Had no problem cutting through maple, mahogany and cherry.

Bought this for a dado jig that I made and it has worked fine. No issues with the bit and look forward to using it for quite some time.

I usually use Whiteside bits but this popped up when I was going to order so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s always whiteside and amana that are recommended for good quality bits and I just started with whiteside and have never had a reason to not use them and regret not using them for this but. The very first time I used it the collar came loose and the bearings slid up allowing the bit to dig into the material and ruin the project. I will just stick to whiteside after this. Definitely would not recommend! Ridiculous!!

Schrott!

I got this bit to lower the neck pocket of a guitar body. This has a proper stopper for the bearing as opposed to the one stewmac sells which only has a plastic tube.Smooth bearings and a very sharp bit.

I first and tried the Yonico drill bit. It was very rough and of inferior quality. The Amana was much smoother and did a perfect job. After the Yonico I won't buy Chinese made tools.
