First off, I'm no expert or anything. I grew up with spreadsheets and opera; ours was not a DIY kinda household. So a few years ago, when I started getting into woodworking, I bought cheap stuff. I didn't know if I was going to use it much so I didn't want to waste a lot of money on it. This included a cheap set of router bits I bought on Amazon for a lot less than one should pay for a bunch of router bits. It was, however, good enough to show me how useful a router is and let me play with different ideas. But then I started a project (see photos) that involved routing more than 120 1/8" dadoes. Despite using soft pine, the cheap bit broke barely a third of the way through. I can't really afford the top-notch bits real woodworkers use but I found this one on Amazon and it's affordable. I won't say cheap because it isn't -- it's just a good value. With this bit, I chewed through the rest of the dadoes with no problem and it's still going strong. Now, I don't know if this was the right bit for what I was doing and I certainly can't say if it's right for your project but if you're looking for this kind of bit, this one works really well at a price that won't break the bank.

This bit is by far the best router bit I've ever used. Stays sharp and doesn't burn the wood. No resin build up. I used it for 2 full days on some mahogany shutters. I would have expected any other bit to break in half the time. This one sharp the entire time. Highly recommend

I purchased the 3/16 bit and I'm very satisfied. I was trying to use a single flute 3/16 from my router bit set, it was having issues. Picked up anther quality brand from a big box store same failure. Very rough cutting. So I found these and purchased two 3/16" bits, based on reviews. These are my go to bits now for dado's in my project using. Makes the perfect groove / slot for 1/4" plywood to fit in.These bits are worth it.

First of all I want to state that I am happy to find something not made in China and in the US. Secondly this is a nice bit it cuts clean and precise. I like the fact that this bit has a 1/4" shank which makes changing router bits a breeze. I have gone the cheap route before with supposed 1/8 bits but I find that it is better to spend a little more to get a good quality bit. Definitely would recommend it and rebuy form this company

I can't find a break between the carbide and base metal. Looks like the entire bit is carbide, huh! If so - - the price is definitely right. In either case, I'm quite pleased. Made my day.

I have been routing some approx. 1" cherry through the full depth, basically using the router as a cutout tool and this bit works really well. I did a back to back comparison with a conventional carbide edged 1/4" bit and this solid carbide tool provided a better finish. Very satisfied and would recommend this product.
