High Speed Steel Aluminum/Non Ferrous Metal Cutting Router Bits
The down cut router bits are recommended when chip removal is directed down to protect the finish of the top of the material that is being cut. The double flute bits provide a smooth finish when grooving and slotting. Use the single flute router bits for routing materials where speed and easy chip removal are desired. Use the aluminum bits for cutting Fomex with Aluminum Face, Sheet and Aluminum Extrusions, Aluminum 5052, and Wood.

Excellent cutter, only drawback is they are HSS so life is not great. The price is right @$6. Couldn't and wouldn't complain. Wish all amana tools were this cheap and would own more of them. I use them to mill signs on hardwood and they perform great. Clean cuts and little to nil tear out. Will definitely buy more in future if they are at this price point.
