Be very careful about the stopper up top... didn't take long for a careless drop taking the funnel out of its storage box for a full shatter.The stopcock grease will clog the hole, clean it out periodically with a pipe cleaner to keep the flow even, but this is a problem with all separator funnels.You may want to invest in some additional lubricant... once you wash the rotating piece the grease will be removed, which makes turning the glass on glass both rough and slightly concerning that it may break or cause unnecessary stress on the very thin point.The rotating stopper doesn't fit perfectly... and the rubber o-ring keeping it secure isn't a perfectly flush fit, so you'll have to play with it occasionally for long project to make sure everything is still secure and as tight as possible.However, there's nothing WRONG with the funnel, it's great quality Bomex glass and won't break from use. If you don't want to pay double, or triple for a funnel that's only slightly better crafted, this is a perfectly fine option.I would highly recommend also purchasing a holding ring.

Rubber O-ring which retains stopcock is undersized allowing stopcock to pop out of funnel thus dumping contents. The stopcock popped out while in a ring stand with the top of the funnel open. Replacement of undersized O-ring corrects problem, however, as delivered this product is dangerous should be used with extreme caution.

The stop cocktail (valva) is leaky. It is not ground, and the O ring is too small. The item seems new, but has something smeared in it inside and out.

It works well enough. It leaks just a little bit if you don't have the valve pushed in a little.

If you're working with larger samples or need a lot of solvent separation this works great. Glass stopcock rather than PTFE though.

Out of the box used and poorly cleaned very disappointing.... I papaid extra for next day delivery and this is what shows up.. WTF Guy's WTF???
