I have purchased 2 of these over the past couple of years, and they have been great. I recommend putting them in a warm room unrolled and with some weights on the corners to "unroll" them from the packaging. I highly recommend them.

It comes rolled. It was impossible for me to unroll it myself so I need my grown son to help me. It did take both of us to unroll. You have to find something heavy to put on all 4 corners and then you have to put it out in the sun for a couple of hours. If it's winter time, you would probably have to use a hair dryer to get it totally unrolled.

The material is excellent, but the pad comes, rolled into a small tube shaped in a long box. It is fastened together with two industrial-strength, zip ties. I would strongly recommend using very heavy leather gloves as the carpet cleats are very sharp. It took two or three days to unroll a little bit at a time putting heavy boxes on one end. Once it was on rolled, I had the task of turning it over, so that the cleats were on the carpet side and not up. I think this is actually a two person job. WITH GLOVES. In the end, it was all worth it.

I received this mat yesterday. It arrived in a tube container, all neatly rolled up. It was difficult to remove it from the tube container. Due to it's rigidity it was a real struggle to get it to lie flat on the carpet. I'm not exaggerating! The spikes really hurt my hands which added to the challenge. I found a pair of winter gloves and used them to somewhat protect my hands. Do they have to make the spikes so sharp? Currently, the mat is lying upside-down, spikes up, with heavy boxes on either end so that I can train it to flatten out, I hope. I'm going to give it at least a couple of days to make sure, then I'll turn it over to adhere to the carpet as it is meant to do. I don't remember my other chair mats being so unfriendly to work with. I guess you get what you pay for. I probably would have been better off to check out the new glass mats they advertise on TV.

this thing is a piece of junk. It comes all rolled up and don't want to straiten out. It's not thick enough to support the weight of the chair and the person in it. It is just a little bit better than nothing.

I had purchased a different mat from a different mat earlier which I had to return because it was too malleable and the wheels of my chair sank into it and I couldn't roll around easily. Also the other one came in a roll and even though I flattened it, it still had a tendency to curl at the edges. This mat is made of a hard plastic and is stiff. It doesn't curl up. The wheels roll perfectly on it.NOTE: This mat is the 48"x36" which SHIPS FLAT. I noticed that this seller also sells mats that ship rolled up. I can't speak about those and some of the reviews that other have left sound like they may have been intended for the rolled up ones. This one that ships flat is the one you want to get!I was so satisfied with this one, that I purchased a second one for a different desk.

It's not as durable as other polycarbonate floor mats. I've had it for a little over a month and it's already pretty heavily cracked. When I received it, the material felt a little different, and not as high quality, than the polycarbonate mats that I'd gotten previously. I only weigh 180 lbs, and it began cracking under my weight almost immediately; previous mats that I've purchased have lasted for well over a year. I wish that I'd spent a little more money to get a higher quality one.

Très mince, reste à voir pour la durabilité...

The plastic is thick and stiff, likely stored in a very cold warehouse and then dropped on a concrete floor. I bought a thinner one. amazon replaced it, no problem.

Durability test is pending compared to the one last purchased from Bureau En Gros several years ago..
