My last wax pen died and this is a great replacement. The only complaint I have is that I prefer the stylus holder to be attached to the unit rather than a separate piece whether it’s the coil-looking stylus holster or a rare earth magnet like my previous model. The stylus holder for this feels too easy to knock over because it’s just a piece of light weight metal.

Beginning jewelry making experiences, so not sure how well this unit compares with other possible options. Seems to work well enough, though still learning technique, efficiencies, and effectiveness.

These are great cheap micromotors, but after going through my third one, I just decided to buy a decent brand (Foredom or Saeshin). They do not last and stop working very quickly. If you need a micromotor to do a simple project and dont mind just throwing it away after you have used it then go for it. If you need a good micromotor and have stumbled upon this and think you will get lucky, move on and save yourself the headache.
