Thin Stockmar wax film inspired for imaginative decorating and designing wax candles, chip boxes, tin cans, glasses, picture frames. The wax film can be cut, cut out with moulds, knead, roll, shape and sticks to the respective surface thanks to its high beeswax content. Geometrically cut wax pieces create mosaic-like patterns. For more elaborate patterns, make a stencil from cardboard, press it on the film and cut out the contours. Wax foil strips make small flowers rolled up, with a toothpick or similar. Patterns are embossed into the film. This allows you to achieve plastic and three-dimensional effects.
A wonderful idea for Advent and Christmas time for designing individual gifts and characterful tree decorations. Cut out with cookie moulds motifs and with beads, sequins etc. decorate.
The films are made of beeswax and natural colour pigments. Dimensions of the film 20 x 10 cm, thickness 1 mm. Crimson Red, Vermilion, Orange, Golden Yellow, Green, Blue, Red Purple, Auburn Brown, Black, Pink, Gold, Silver. Comes in a cardboard box. From the work committee children's play + toy awarded the game good seal.
In 1922, Hans Stockmar founded his company for beekeeping supplies and beeswax candles in Schleswig-Holstein. Inspired by art teachers of the Waldorf School, he developed kneading wax and Stockmar wax crayons. The Stockmar logo of the hexagonal honeycomb with the colour circle symbolises the combination of the natural material beeswax with colours and senses. Beeswax is still the main ingredient of Stockmar wax crayons and makes their special transparent and glazing nature.

Bought it to make a rubber mold for polymer clay. I used super glue to hold it together and it worked like a charm! Very happy!

These worked wonderfully on our project! It was easy to manipulate, once warm, so we could apply thin layers on our candle designs & stretch it out farther. The colors are beautiful!

It states very clearly that this is DECORATING wax. It is Not the wax used for Making candles but for decorating them. Fantastic product. Decorates beautifully.

Nice colors, but not quite what I was looking for like actual sheets with the beeswax patterns, these were flat with no patterns.

Sheets are small. It takes 2 sheets wrapped around each other to make a regular taper size candle, only half the length. It's easy to work with, super soft but it melts everywhere be sure to have it in a cup so you don't get wax everywhere. It's OK for decorating but not burning. I won't buy them or recommend this wax for candles. It's definitely not bees wax.
