I got this because I need a shorter antenna because the original antenna was getting in the well. I was skeptical about the reception because of the length in the antenna, but that’s wasn’t an issue. The reception and size is great.

I wanted to wait a little wile to make sure that I didn't have any issues, but this is a steal. If you are looking at this antenna you probably had the same issue as me. I'm a little fluffy, and my long radio antenna would constantly rub my side getting in and out of the vehicle. This caused wear marks on my uniform, and that long antenna is impossible to conceal if you are doing any type of UC or surveillance work. Pick up 2 for the price of a snack, you won't regret it.

These work just as well as the larger antennas. Easy to install. Great product at a great price. With two you have a back-up. No complaints.

Like many things in life… size isn’t everything lol…Sometimes the short ones are just as powerful as the long ones…In all seriousness, these appear to have the same range as the original, and do not catch my arm on my antenna anymore

Broke first day using it. Thank god I kept my original antenna in my vest as a back up.
