Ok I do not use as intended. I like to break up ice to eat. It is perfect! Cracks ice perfectly! I imagine it does a great job on nuts as well. My daughter uses it for opening lids which it does very nicely as well! A very handily little tool! Well made. Sturdy. I like it very much and happily recommend it.

I love the sleek look, the colors have held up well even after several months of washing in hot soapy water and the plastic material not chipped. I love the ease of use. It is lightweight and easy to use nomatter what size hands a person has. The shape holds a variety size of nuts.

This nutcracker has a very nice handle. I've been using it for over a month now and haven't hurt my hand even once. The wood hasn't chipped or broken and seems to be going strong. The paint on the handle is a little washed out in some parts, but that's not important to me.The nutcracker does the job well enough for large nuts. Very little effort or force of strength required. It cracks the nut meat itself if you aren't careful, but you can easily learn how to avoid this to get the "perfect" nut by positioning the nut just so and learning when to stop squeezing.I knocked off a star because smaller nuts, like almonds, just fall in and sit in the bottom. You can sort of get this to chip at the smaller nuts if you hold the nut itself while it's in the nutcracker, but it won't actually open the whole thing. The nutcracker won't pinch your fingers while you do that though, so that's a relief.I did try to use the nutcracker on a bottle cap out of curiosity. I didn't expect it to work on that, but it opened the bottle up easy peasy! Neat little bonus.All in all a very good nutcracker. This is very sturdy. I don't see this thing breaking any time soon, but I would reorder it if I did lose it or something.

I was gonna get a regular old skool nut cracker, but this seemed easier and I was wrong. Looks very nice and well made. It's not too heavy but heavy enough to crack nuts. The issue i have is I'm doing walnuts and it just barely cracks them and slips up and out when trying to crack. It doesn't crack completely unless you crack it then crack it a second time and then at the point the nuts in a billion pieces. So overall walnuts not recommended for. I only had a bag of walnuts so I've tried nothing else in it. But I'm not a fan. So I would say value is not that great with the functionality being low.

Look nice. Easy to use. Good quality material. These aren't designed to be sharp. Will fit most size nuts. I'll have to be careful not to crush the nut in this device. It's easy to put too much pressure on them. It going to take some practice to make proper use of this.

I used it to crack the Christmas nuts. It did a bang up job on the round nuts. It worked on the almonds but not quite as well. Easy to use and shards of shell are more contained.
