It holds some brushes in place but not all, the big ones don't fit, and the angle needed is compromised by the adjuster level, but it works okay. I had to adjust mine by takin off the lever (what tightens it) so I could get to high corner areas.

Forget the step stool and ladder! I don't feel safe using either and with this brilliant and well made gadget I don't have to. My paintbrushes are secure. My putty knife didn't fit so I used a paintbrush to putty and it worked great! Now, my high projects are not so high that a ladder is the only way. However, rather than having to hire someone good on a ladder, I can do it. The thread fits the adjustable pole I have.

The knob for tightening to hold a paint brush is damn near impossible to turn. I had to put it in a vise and crank on it with a pliers just to get it to hold a brush.The knob contolling the angle is good though, not sure why they didn't just do both with that design.

Worked well holding the brush. But when I went to adjust the angle, the wheel used to tighten the angle part came off, so it just flopped around. Needed to repair by adding a washer to the bolt with a nut on top. The wheel still keeps falling off periodically, but I can adjust the angle with pliers. Sorry I bought this brand because it seems to be a useful tool.

The Multi-angle paint brush extension allowed me to reach the high spots on the stairwell walls & ceiling. This little item saved me a lot of $$$ since I would have required a contractor with specific ladders to paint the job.

I'm a senior and have been doing my own painting for decades. Using a ladder is a no-go for me these days, but I need to economize when it comes to updating my home. This extension tool was just what I needed to attach my angled brush to cut along the ceiling, and I was able to attach any and all of my brushes and rollers to my extension poles. If I didn't have this I would have needed to hire a painter, especially to paint the wall going up my stairs to the ceiling of my second floor. It is easy to use; you just twist the knob until the screw makes contact with the handle. Another knob adjusts your preferred angle securely.
