This a sturdy butter dish that can hold two bars of butter at once. There is a small rise around 3 sides to keep the butter from slipping off as you use it. The 4th side is open to the bottom so you can easily use ALL of the butter without it being lost in a corner that the butter knife can't reach so you waste a lot of butter. This was a well-thought-out product.

It's a very nice butter keeper but it is a little hard to open. You have to push down tabs on each end to open it. We could not open it without pushing real hard. I filed down the two tabs on each end and that made it much easier to open.

I like the size, the price and the fact that the cover LOCKS ON to the bottom of the plate. Other butter dishes the cover doesn't attach and moves around a lot. Easy to open and close and it's very sturdy.

Nice looking container and Seals tightly. I would not recommend to anyone that has trouble with their hands because it is very difficult to open. You have to use both hands , push down on the tabs and then balance the top of it with your thumbs to get it to open.

Very well made, and snaps closed nicely. Much better than the ones I've seen in the stores. Great value
