This butter dish includes a lid with a handle. The handle is very helpful for lifting and setting down the lid.It's well made. Nice smooth glaze finish. It looks nice and goes with most any decor.It's a good size for one standard American size stick of butter with space to spare.It has a slightly raised rectangular edge to border the butter and it helps to keep the lid in place without sliding into the butter.Easy to clean. I always handwash an item like this, so I haven't put it in the dishwasher.Would definitely recommend this item.

It’s just like the picture except that it’s quite big and so it takes up a lot of space in my fridge. The butters I buy are not so long shaped so I always have to cut them.
