Loved this butter for cutting boards. Very easy to put on and very little smell. It makes the board look brand new. Not greasy like mineral oil. Highly recommend

I have loved my natural color epicurean board for years even though it has been stained and scarred with a ton of cutting marks. And I also just bought two new epicurean boards in black with the juice grooves and little grips. So, when I saw this product I had to try it! It only makes sense that I care for my epicurean boards like I do my butcher block countertop and boards! Why had I never thought of doing that before?!? I wish I had before and after photos, but I’m way too impatient and I had to try it as soon as it arrived lol. I have to say that it in no way removes the appearance of the cut marks, but it does restore the look of my well-loved epicurean board. The little sponge doesn’t seem that durable so I foresee having to be replace it before I’ve used all the board butter (which I feel like could be a long time from now! Seriously, a little goes a long way every for 3 boards!). All-in-all, I am pleased with this product and I would totally recommend it!!!!

I bought the Epicurean Board Butter to take care of my wooden and bamboo cutting boards, and it's been fantastic. The application is simple, and a little goes a long way. Since I started using it, my boards look almost like new – they're more resistant to water and stains, and they feel smoother.The silver packaging is elegant, and the product itself doesn't have a strong smell, which I appreciate. It's made maintaining my kitchen tools easier and more efficient. Highly recommend it if you want to keep your cutting boards in top shape!

Tin of Epicurean EPI-BUTTER Cutlery Board Butter, Silver received on time and although the tin was sealed, it's bottom has many small dents. We ordered product that's supposed to be new. The items in the package with the tin were socks, which we doubt could have caused as many dents, much less only on the bottom of the tin. The wax works as described so we're keeping the product.

I'm SO glad to stumbled upon this product on a kitchen supply store (I bought it off Amazon for the same price)! It has given our three Epicurean cutting boards a fresh almost-new look, and I like knowing our boards are not dried out.It comes with an applicator sponge, and a little bit does go a long way, but since our boards were pretty beaten up, I applied a couple of coats before letting it sit overnight to set, then washing it and allowing it to dry before using.The price isn't the lowest, and I'm certain you might be able to use some other product like mineral oil to keep your boards looking snappy, but I do really like having the sponge to really rub in each coat.We have friends who put their boards in the dishwasher (we hand wash ours), so the really test will be how fresh we can me *those* boards look, once I get a hold of them... I'll be sure to update (with pix, I hope!) when I do!

The cutting board butter just works. It rejuvenated my epicurean boards that were looking a little dull with age. Makes them shine and look healthy again. Huge plus that these are food safe as that is important to us. The application pad makes this easy to apply.

I had a few Epicurean cutting boards. I was maintaining them with various oils and whatnot. But I stumbled across their board butter when I wa purchasing a couple of new boards to add to the collection. So I bought some to give it a try.This stuff is simple as heck to use. It's like waxing anything, a surfboard, for example. You just use the included sponge to apply. Rub it in, I let it sit for a bit before removing the excess. Wax on, wax off, baby. It's idiot proof.Now, for demonstration purposes, I've taken my oldest and most worn board to photograph. This thing is years old, and it's used and washed daily. Now, I'm used to it looking like trash. But I've got other boards I use when presenting appetizers, when company comes over, or when I cater. But you can see from the pics that the board butter brings back its black luster. It's still got a million cuts in it. And to keep it looking this good I'd have to wax it pretty regularly. I'm not that bothered. But at least you can see what the butter can do to a weathered board like mine.

This stuff is great. Really cleans up my board (also from Epicurean) and has a very mild, but pleasant smell. Goes on easy with the sponge that's included, and doesn't leave any residue. A must have if you live in a dry climate especially. Well worth the price to keep your cutting board looking good.

I was looking to purchase a new cutting board because mine was many years old and was beginning to look its age - faded and with lots of cutting marks. But I couldn't find a board that I liked enough to buy. So I decided to give the board butter a try and I completely recommend it! My board is no longer lack lustre and the cutting marks are hardly visible. The board butter costs about the same price as a new board, but as a little goes a long way, you get a much better deal buying the butter
