Standard 3/8 knock out hardware does not fit. (1/2 inch knock outs). I had to drill/file the holes to fit wiring clamps. The included plastic grommets are a joke and not a safe long term solution unless the cord never moves. The switch contacts and spring pressure are fairly robust, I'm not convinced this is actually stout enough to take 7200 watts but I'd feel comfortable with 1/2 that. I'm using it for a 1.5 horsepower motor and the load is only started once this switch is on, it should be well within it's capacity. I'd buy this again.

Bought this to control the garage heater during the Ohio winter. Didn't make it past the first couple weeks. Fell apart. It actually fell apart. Button fell off, one of the contacts dropped off.

Some reviews said it was decent some said junk. I think for the price it's workable. The holes Are a tad small for a 1/2 wire clamp but was able to finesse it with needle nose and then thread it in and place lock nut.EDIT 7-24-23. Over a Year later still working fine Not much to it but effective and simple Will also state the one I got Is metal I've seen some cheaper ones plastic but this is TIN Was kinda floating on my machine and would have surely bent if I had only relied on the top being mounted to a pipe 90° So I trimmed a L bracket and tapped a hole to catch a screw in the switch and used an existing hole on my machine.Overall for how cheap it was compared to say an industrial brand It was worth the extra steps for me As far as longevity time will tell.. Will update review if fails in untimely manner

I'm constructing an inline on/off switch for my air compressor -- this switch will work perfectly in tandem with the Legrand-Pass and Seymour L620P & L620C plug and connector, respectively. I haven't yet assembled it, but my initial assessment is everything will go together seamlessly. The ON portion of the switch stays engaged when pressed; the OFF portion disengages the ON switch when it is depressed. (The OFF switch does not stay engaged -- it is a press / release type switch.) Nicely manufactured -- the overall product should operate the way I envision it functioning.

If the application isn’t obvious, ad a sign to promote pushing the button all the way in.

Have not installed yet. Bought one for table saw and one for compressor, both had light switches installed for switches but these seemed safer for workshop use. Arrived very quickly, much faster than expected. Installation looks simple in spite of no instructions included.

The switch works well and it's extremely easy to install. Just cut the line, bare the wires, and continue the circuit from white to white and black to black. The buttons function well; although, you have to press a little hard and they are not that smooth. You get what you pay for though. In general, well worth buying.

After a short time in operation the Start button stayed in and wouldn't release. Upon inspection, I noted that the locking mechanism keeping the Start button engaged is made of thin plastic parts that appear to be very fragile. Even if it didn’t fail so quickly, it seems to be too flimsy to last on a machine that is used often.
