This hose for our pool filter seems to have to be replaced every year. But I’m glad this is easy to get and not expensive.

In the spring of 2023, I purchased this hose to replace hose that had been on my above ground pool filter for probably 10 years. The old hoses had no holes, etc, but I thought that I’d be proactive and replace them. Yesterday, I was working outside when I noticed a “fountain†of water spraying on the pool cover. Upon investigating, I found that one of these “new†hoses had developed a pretty significant leak. Luckily, I had saved the “old†hoses that had never sprung a leak. Once I had installed the old hose, I restarted the pump and noticed that a second of the “new†hoses also had a leak. Reinstalled an “old†hose and we’re good to go. Will never, ever purchase these hoses again.

I use this for an indoor pool pump, so not exposed to the elements at all, just running on a small 1.5 hp pool filter system, and within less than 2 months it already is coming apart with pinhole leaks, spraying water inside my house - need to replace it with a better hose. Do not buy this 'durable' is not what it is. Unfortunately outside the return window by like 3 weeks!

very thin. Lasted only 2 months before it sprung a leak. Would not buy again. You get what you pay for.

Replace hoses on the pool pump every year. Hoses received in years past were heavy duty and lasted the entire year. The order I placed this year, found the hoses to very light weight. After installing on the pool and adding water to the pool, 2 or the 3 leaked, one a pin hole, and the other a small split. This was with just adding water to the pool, pump not on and no pressure. No Memorial day swim for the grand kids this year, unless I can find quality replacements
