I bought it specifically for making my own hunting harnesses, and it is perfect for that, in my opinion. Very stiff, and I supposed you could pull a vehicle with it.

I expected 1/2" as advertised. I am not sure what they used to measure it, but it isn't accurate. I would like to be able to trust ropes I use as I am responsible for my life as well as others below me. If that measurement is inaccurate it creates mistrust when it comes to using this rope for any real work. Price is good, so i figured i would give it a shot, but understand you get what you pay for. Put the money down on a good USA made rope. Sterling, Pelican, Samson, Blue ox, RJ rope are all good, certified, and trustable companies IMHO. All yall be safe out there.

I am not using it for climbing, but instead I use it to tie down big loads of hay for our horses. This rope is both strong and super long. It's got a little stretch to it and it very strong. It holds down our hay loads safely while traveling a few hours back home. It holds knots well and hasn't frayed. Seems to be a darn good rope.

The rope seems sturdy, but its basically thick paracord. It has a braided outer sheath with unbraided inner fibers. It is extremely stiff, making it difficult to work with, difficult to coil, difficult to uncoil, and difficult to tie secure knots. I would not use this for climbing because I would not trust the knots. It's fine for general rope use if you're going to set something up and leave it, but I wouldn't recommend it if you will need to frequently tie knots or coil/uncoil it.

I've used this rope for scaling some of my trees. It feels sturdy, it's quite flexible, and it connects well to my gear.
