I bought my first one through Warehouse Deals. It had sharp cracks in the metal around the edges of the front of the mail box. You could get cut putting in or retrieving mail. Must have been why it was a Warehouse Deal. Should have been trashed due to safety issue but inspections are hit and miss with Warehouse Deals. Bought a brand new one second time around. Door closure was way weaker than the first one. Where the mounting holes were drilled one had deep half circle scratch through the paint on the inside. Must have happened when they drilled the hole. QC at factory lacking for first and second mail box I got. Got a replacement for the second one. Door closure was firm. Could not find any factory defects. I like the mail box. Only gave it 4 stars for value because I had to wait 2 weeks to get a good one and made 2 trips to make a return. Had to eat a set of numbers because I didn't notice the sharp edges until I installed it. I bought the matching steel post. Said there should be 8 washers, 4 bolts & nuts. Only got 4 washers. Easier to buy at Lowe's than wait for replacements (less than $1 but an extra trip). Again factory not doing their job. This mailbox is great and I love the look & how much it holds. Good for me and the postal carrier. I like it very much and just wish it wasn't such a hassle to get it right. Once it is installed it doesn't look crazy big but it is very big. Very smart design. I mail and receive USPS boxes all the time and this is great that they fit in the mailbox. Very happy. It appears it will last a long time unless it gets hit.

This is the second-largest and nicest looking of the giant post mount boxes. This one has nicer lines and flag than the largest box, which seems plainer. Get a post mount for anything but a horizontal arm.

This mailbox is large enough for most packages and keeps my mail dry. It was easy to install on my 4x4 post.

Well-Built and solid metal mailbox. Needs a door seal or leaks water and snow. Door does stay shut through all weather so far. Confirm measurements as it is double as wide as a normal mailbox. If they fill the thing up with packages etc it can be more than a arm full to carry everything in. Worked well during the holidays with less packages yelling "take me" at the front door.

We had a drunk driver hit our mailbox which was on a wooden post so decided to upgrade the mailbox to a steel pole. This mail box system is awesome! We bought the corresponding post which made the installation super easy. The mailbox itself is really large and holds the large Priority Mail packages. The flag is sturdy metal and I love that the door is easy close and has a magnet to keep it closed. I know this box will last for years to come! I am very satisfied with the purchase and know my mail carrier is happy as well since he has to take less trips to my porch. Highly recommend this!

This box is no joke. It’s way bigger than your standard mailbox. It’s sturdy and classy and doesn’t look oversized when driving by. It perfectly fits lots of mail and is very solid. I don’t recommend attaching it to a standard wood post. We fancied ours up with some nice stone and it looks amazing!

Very happy with the mailbox. It’s packaged very well so no damage upon receiving . Ordered two prior to this one from another company both were damaged when I got them. It’s plenty large. I don’t think you would need anything larger.
