I fixed a patio heater with this and it’s sturdier than when it came from the factory! Kind of a fun little tool. You’re not going to be building any ships with it tho.

Riveting can seem tricky at first to even a handy person. The hardest part is understanding how they work and how to find the right rivet for your application. Once you understand grip and diameter, you have to use a rivet tool to install the rivets. This tool makes it straightforward. Simply insert the rivet into the proper head and squeeze the gun once, reset and seat the rivet again and squeeze again until the mandrel snaps off. The tool works great and is simple to use. It helped me overcome my fear of the unknown and I now I can say I know how to set rivets.

As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the grip is far apart meaning you have to use both hands to use it. Overall it gets the job done though and very pleased.

It has all of some sizes but only half or less of other sizes. For example, 1/8" rivet says quantity 25 but the case only had 10 of those. Not worth returning.
