  • READY FOR ACTION: The PT50 Pneumatic Staple Gun is great for household projects, like insulation, house wrap, roofing, flooring, or upholstery; This tool is great for large projects and stapling into harder materials
  • COMFORT AND EFFICIENCY: The lightweight compact design, over mold rubber grip, and the exhaust cover that allows you to direct exiting air flow make for a comfortable stapling experience
  • CONVENIENCE AND SAFETY: Unlike other pneumatic tools, the PT50 does not require oil for maintenance; The safety trigger feature requires two triggers to be pulled before firing to prevent misfires
  • BUMP FIRE ACTION: Rapid firing of staples is possible by holding down the trigger and pressing against your work surface. The contact safety prevents misfires when shooting multiple staples in succession

Was tasked to re-screen the patio, using only an electric staple gun. This was not cutting the mustard. This tool was an awesome find and priced below what I expected to pay. Worked great straight out of the box (after oiling). The add lists as oil free (or something like that). If you're new to air tools: unless you have an "oiler" connected to your compressor, oil this tool just like any other pneumatic tool. You will find this info in the manual. Slap to the hand Arrow, I found the add info a little misleading. I digress... 5-Star, great buy! Manual suggests running at 60-100PSI, my compressor wouldn't hang at 100 and after dropping the PSI down to around 90, I was concerned there wouldn't be sufficient pressure(stapling to many times painted PT lumber). This was not the case, I have only run about 2k staples though the tool but no jams, tweaked staples or failures. Compared to other brand named nail and brad guns I own, this tool looks to be built as well and performance wise, is as much fun to use.

Couldn't be better, quiet, effective, fast and efficient. No effort to hold down with palm of hand as it easily thumps the staple in effortlessly.

Works great! Used it to replace atv seat covers and a manual stapler was not cutting it, this thing has better force

My latest project, I snagged an Arrow PT50 Oil-Free Pneumatic Staple Gun, hoping for a tool that could keep pace with my lofty DIY ambitions—and it didn't disappoint. This stapler drives staples like a dream. Tip: Make sure your compressor’s output is adjustable for ensuring your staples don’t dive too deep into your project, preserving the integrity of your materials. Not once have I faced a jam or a misfire, which is saying something. If you’ve ever been in the flow, only to be rudely interrupted by a stubborn tool, you know how much of a mood killer that can be. The PT50, however, has been a solid ally, chugging along without a hiccup. It feels robust in hand—not too heavy, not too light—a Goldilocks kind of "just right" for hours of use without leaving you feeling like you’ve arm-wrestled a gorilla.Whether you’re decking out a birdhouse, reupholstering furniture, or tackling some serious woodwork, this professional heavy-duty stapler doesn’t just meet the mark; it blows right past it (with the wrong air settings :) For anyone on the fence about investing in a pneumatic stapler, let the Arrow PT50 be your nudge in the right direction. Solid, reliable, and surprisingly easy on the materials, it’s a staple in my toolkit now. Pun absolutely intended.

Edit: after using a proper synthetic oil (5-10 drops) to lubricate the gun (amsoil sae 20), the gun now can fire at a much lower psi 40-50psi and consistently drives hard staples at 60-70psi. Used the gun to hang indoor christmas lights and was very happy to cycle at 45psi and not damage the wire. Leaks are less frequent below 60psi now but does still happen at the tip and trigger. Not sure of cfm usage but driving staples every 8” for 70ft took my 5 gallon compressor from 140psi to 120psi. That was using 45psi at the gun though. Higher pressure is more cfm.Original:Air leaks out of trigger unless psi is greater than 65, which I find strange. There is no comparison between this gun and the manual staplers I’ve used. Most manual staplers cannot drive 9/16” staples into hardwood. This thing is crazy - especially above 105psi. And I have occationally found spots in wood hard enough that the gun cannot drive the staple flush. As a mechanical engineer, I believe this to be the fault of the staple itself and not the gun. The metal in the staple is far too flimsy to resist the impact/driving force. A 1/4” crown steel staple would be fine.Perfect setting for most staple sizes is 75-85psi.60-65psi isnt enough power for hardwood on long staples but will do the 1/4” fine.I took off two stars1) for trigger leaking at low psi (stops leaking above 65psi for me) but occationally leaks a burst after firing which wastes way more cfm than necessary - aka makes your compressor cycle.2) stapler will double fire 30% of the time (only actually drives a single staple - just fires two or more air puffs and cycles)I did not take a star off for the oil provided. But I did notice severe foaming of the oil with air bursts - very similar to olive oil. Makes me wonder if it’s a canola or mineral oil. A mobile 1 or amsoil engineer would have a field day with it. Last time I saw something foam that bad it was a re-geared differential operating above temp ranges with some old dyno oil without any additives. Needless to say the outside housing rusted and flaked in a couple hundred miles. Probably going to replace the gun oil with a synthetic non additive 20 weight.

For years I've struggled to staple signs into bluebird nest boxes I manage along our neighborhood bluebird trail. Most heavy-duty staplers never worked- the staples would not go all the way into the wood no matter how hard I pressed. But, this Arrow device finally worked for me. The staples had no problem going into the wood with good pressure, I recommend this. I also purchased it with the Arrow T50 Multipack (with three diff sizes) for only about $6. A very good price for both the Staple Gun & staples.

I bought this Arrow PT50 air staple gun after trying an electric Tacwise gun that also shoots the same T50 / 140 size staples.I will be using it to staple polytunnel plastic to lots of wooden frames, so the wide surface area of the T50/140 staples should help to ensure that it doesn't punch through the plastic. The electric one wasn't able to drive even 8mm staples fully into a piece of pine, so I returned it.The PT50 is a quality piece of kit.The air connector is a bit of a strange size, not sure what it is but I replaced it with a pcl quick connect fitting which has a 1/4" bsp male thread. The thread on the tool isn't bsp but it threads in well enough with a few wraps of ptfe tape.I will be using it mostly with 8mm staples and it drives them amazingly well compared to the electric stapler. The bump fire feature is really great too.Other reviewers have said that the magazine release button is too easily pressed by accident, but I haven't found it to be a problem at all. This comes in a cardboard box without a plastic carry case. I think you can buy them with a carry case, but its not this listing.Apart from the strange sized airline threads and the lack of carry case, this is a very well made staple gun.
