When the brush is first received, the bristles may be deformed due to transportation issues. Placing it for a period of time or soaking it in warm water can restore the brush to its original shape.

This brush is of the dimensions listed - you can easily reach the bottom of a 5 Gal. carboy, and it can easily be bent to cover the bottom or upper areas of a jug. Considerations:The brushes came packed tightly - as a result the bristles were quite flattened.  After sitting for a few days and being "fluffed" a bit, they have regained a little shape but are still only about "half round."  The stem is not very stiff - although I could easily reach the bottom of a carboy, it is so flexible that I had to wiggle it around quite a bit to loosen the gunk after a brewing. I suspect this won't be a problem for smaller items (looks like most of the pics in the listing are with a 1 gal jug). Inexpensive and will do the trick, but not as efficient as a heavier brush would be.

These work, but are a little flimsy. They could use more stiffness for getting trub off the bottom of a 6g carboy.Edit: the manufacturer reached out to me about this review. Good customer service gets them an extra star
