I got these yesterday and was excited to take them up north to fill them up with springwater and as soon as I picked up the box, I knew they were broken not sure if it was the shipping company or the business itself, but they were just wrapped in bubble wrap

I was nervous about getting them intact but they were double boxed and wrapped with more than enough bubble wrap to make it here safely. Thanks!

I only wish these came with a rubber stopper or something like that to keep dirt out. I set this up in the corner of my kitchen as a way to keep water on hand when the city decides without telling local residents that they are working on water lines in the area! I have a couple of smaller water bladders that I keep full and drain out weekly just to ensure I have water on hand. These jugs I use with those usb powered water "faucets" so if I have to, I can drain some water from the bladder into this carboy, use the faucet to deliver the water to a pot/pan and boil it in case I need to have drinking water for a day or longer when they work on the water lines. This carboy is heavy and that's both good and bad - it isn't going to move, that's for sure! It IS hard to move empty so for me it would be near-impossible to move when full of water. I do like that it is thick glass, though I would prefer it was blue or brown tinted so water inside doesn't grow algae. Still, this is a wonderful pair of jugs that I will get lots of use out of!
