I have used these before and find them to work so good, down to 2 microns, as good as a filter. Filter balls are the only thing that comes close to a real filter cartridge.

I tried to load a Pic but wasn't able to. This product does not work well with what is meant to be sand filters. Sick to that.

Tried them with my pool but had to buy 3x what it said was needed to get them to work. Constantly clogging every few days and had to backwash. I went back to sand and haven’t had the maintenance issues anymore.

At the time of this review, I have been using these 3.08 pounds pool filter balls for 16 days, and I am really happy with how effective they are. These reusable filter balls have proved to be a great substitute for the conventional sand filtering approach. The elimination of possible sand leakage into the swimming pool is one of the biggest benefits.Because of the rapid growth of algae in our high desert environment, frequent cleaning is required. Thankfully, maintaining these filter balls is not difficult. I just placed them in a mesh zippered bag, ran a gentle cycle in the washing machine, then used the same setting to dry them. They came out impeccable and ready for their next use.One ball got stuck in the pool port as a result of our overfilling the filter basket, which was a small issue. However, my husband was easily able to fix with this situation. In the end, these filter balls provide effective filtration without any difficulty, making them a big improvement over sand. I definitely recommend them to anyone who still use the traditional sand filter method.

These are absolutely the bomb Diggity! I wasn’t sure how they were going to work, but I did a lot of research before purchasing them. I think it might have helped that I had a brand new pool filter never had sand in it before. The amount of balls that come in this package is enough balls for two seasons. We just have a 15 foot above the ground swimming pool so compared the sand ball ratio. We used enough for our pool and it is working perfectly and filtering well.
