Our study has interior french doors and we close it when we're not home to keep the dogs out. This keeps them perfectly secured outside without having to resort to weird tactics like bike locks or heavy chairs.

Works great on my French door handles (8†apart). Easy to install and it will delay entry to exterior French doors. Would’ve given it 5 stars if it had foam, felt or rubber on the back part facing the door and where it makes contact with the door handles.

When closing the security lock between the French door handles, it doesn't adjust close enough to both handles and therefore it can be taken off by sliding it downward when opening both handles.
