This piece is finely finished and very solidly built. The single lock screw drives a brass clamp which grips 1 1/4" eyepieces firmly and keeps the eyepiece centered in the adapter, which is critical for fine collimation of your Newtonian reflector telescope. I use it as part of a replacement focuser I built for my Skywatcher Virtuoso GTi 150P portable telescope. Works great. Highly recommended.

Well made machined-aluminum accessory. It holds my eyepieces very firmly, and the brass collar protects them from getting scratched by the set-screw. No complaints.

Read some reviews of this item that nearly scared me away- Halloween and all that :)Glad I made the purchase. Fit my C7 2" diagonal perfectly and clamped my 1.25" binoviewers firmly.I would recommend this product for both price point and practicality.

I bought this for the 2" filter threads. It is firm and well-built. Just know that the 1.25" goes inside, which is a good thing in general, but in my case it forces me to use another 2" extension to get objects into focus.

This product works exactly as described and is better than the competitors products.Packaging/Shipping:I was very impressed with the care that was spent packaging this adapter. I've included some pictures from the unpacking process showing how securely it was packaged. Shipping information was sent to me by Astromania and the package came in within the time frame given.I have 3 or 4 of these, all from different companies, and this is by far the best one. The one Orion included with my XT8 has 'wiggle room' when something is tightened in the adapter, but not this one. This is key, as I use a Cheshire for collimation. I would highly recommend this, especially for the price! Great value!
