Astromania adjustable tube rings for astrophotography.Set of 2 finder-guide scope rings for guide scopes between 48 mm and 100 mm tube diameter. The finder-guide scope rings from Astromania Optics allow a reliable and above all stable adaption of telescopes parallel to the main instrument. Most common use is astrophotography. With the knurled thumb screws, the finder-guide scope is adjustable and you can centre a sufficiently bright star in the eyepiece or the the autoguider. And the tube rings are suitable for bigger finder scopes, too. The adaption of the tube rings to the telescope. The rings have two female M6 threads in a distance of 38 mm. Therefore, the rings fit directly to the TSFDA or TSPKM dovetail clamps. You can also attach the rings to flat support surfaces like dovetail bars, and get a short adaption to your telescope. These were the best priced 102mm rings I could find.They are well built and with mount holes was easy to attach to a Bixen Dovetail bar.Used to add an inexpensive Orion ST80mm to my reflector, but still be able to mount it to it's included EQ1-B mount that did not have a Dovetail. I ended up using 2 in my reflector and 1 on my EQ1.Very Satisfied.

Build quality is fine, but the holes are non-standard diameter and didn't line up with any of my dovetails!

I found Astromania's 102mm guiding rings to be a perfect way to adapt an 80mm refractor for use as a guide scope. You'll like the workmanship, and the fine threads on the nylon tipped guiding rings.

The holes on the adjustment screws aren't square with the rings. Additionally there is no center hole making these things very hard to mount on a standard vixen dovetail. Wish I hadn't bought them.
