As others have noted I could not get this scope to focus .I had to buy an eyepiece extension tube to make it work.Also the helical focuser is super stiff and rotates the whole extension part of the scope unless that is secured super tightly.With a little extra effort I was able to make it work but quality control should be better.

Didn’t really get a chance to try this out, as once mounted on my Celestron 8†GPS in place of the original finder scope, the Dual Mounting forks for the OTA didn’t provide enough clearance. Might be fine on a side arm mount like the SE series if you can mount further from the arm.Of course, should work great on an equatorial mount with no problems. The base included with the “package†was just barely large enough to mount in the same location as the OEM finder.Loved the helical focuser; was my first experience with one but didn’t really get to use it.Would definitely be a first choice great value upgrade for a different telescope.
