As long as you hook it up as per the manual, have the gains adjusted correctly, for those that need to, it works great. Restores the bottom end that was removed during the recording process, in the studio, and it does happen so people don't blow their stuff up. It makes a BIG difference for a lot of my cd's from the 80's. Associated equipment is Alpine head unit, CDA117, Audio Control 3.2, Kimber Kable KCAG .5m, fully silver rca's from head unit to pre-amp. Preamp to Epicenter to Zuki Audio 5 channel Eleets via Stinger 8000 silver clad rca's, JL Audio 10W3V4 in a sealed box, Audio Dynamic components , 6.5" midbass/1" tweeters, through their respective passive crossovers, 4 sheets of Dynamat per door, various areas of my Toyota Rav 4. It is a sound quality set up, and sounds really good. The Epicenter really makes a big difference, it's NOT coming out. For $150, well worth the money spent.

Best addition for audiophiles who like music with REAL INSTRUMENTS!! When my sounddstream bx10 bit the dust i decided to upgrade and WOW this things works magic. For those of you who listen to hip hop/ house and all music that is made with computers, you will not see a huge difference. This is not a bass boost, but a bass restorer. Im running 2,000 watts RMS to 2 10" type Rs and this thing really makes them push DEEP bass, best thing since the wheel was invented lol

This is by far the best upgrade that I did to my system. It really brings out that deep bass sound that's been missing especially from the 80s and 90s hits. Its a good solid product compare to the cheaper spidy bass booster. You get what you paid for on this and every single penny is worth it. I would highly recommend this to everybody. Installing the system is fairly easy as well. Great job AudioControl.

fast shipping came in a properly packed box . guys!!! those of you who are having issues about the sound being awful or too distorted remember that you need to change the rca input in the back of your headunit feom the subwoofee to the rear outputs. this needs a full range signal. if you plug it to the subwoofer output it wont work well just awful bass. but if you connect it to where it says rear or R it will work perfect. of course you have to tune it by ear on your deck and epicenter but nohing too conplicated. but remember that before you guys return it or sell it!!!!! I almost gave up but im so glad i didnt and researched. hope this helps someone

Solo el detalle que buscaba color GRIS y me mandaron uno negro tal ves suene ridiculez pero para el proyecto y la estetica ocupaba el gris !
