Tears through the ground weLL using a 72cc Auger machine. WiLL work weLL on smaLLer and larger roots. Divide your area into quadrants. Auger a hole in each quadrant and finish in the middle with the 8†- 12†auger. Roots are your nemesis. Use a 4 inch bit to break the roots & then you are in the clear to power-auger holes for planting trees or arborvitaes. Fits standard 3/4†Auger machines. Comes with pin cotter pin.

Bought to drill holes for 15 new rosebushes. Bought attachment for cordless drill. Works well. Tried it on wet compost pike and were happy with ability to mix it up with less manpower.

I had some extra tough ground to punch holes in and used this as a pilot bit for my larger auger and it worked perfectly

Does anyone know of a drill adapter that will fit this? I’ve bought two adapters that said they were 3/4 inch in diameter that were far too loose fitting with this bit.

Makes digging holes a breeze. Super fast and easy. Only thing I didn't like was the attachment adapter. Wish there was something I can easily attach to a electric drill.
