I got this to mix my composter box and it works great. I have it on an old drill and I can churn the hole box by going around and drilling it down. Love this product.

This totally exceeded my expectation for it.Drilling a 3" hole to a 34" depth is not easy, but this made it so easy without breaking, which I expected it to do.Admittedly, I only used it once for a pilot hole for a well project, but it worked great for that.It was way easier and cheaper than a post hole digger, although it may not last as long.I used a 1/2" electric drill, not a wimpy battery drill, so I gave it the stress test, and it passed!

This item worked good for helping extract soil from under basement floor to create a suction pit for radon abatement system. Will also use for flower bulbs. It is a two piece auger, so not sure of durability. Extra screws are included.

As an auger this is a perfectly usable tool - five stars.There are some tiny issues (that do not affect usability):There is an upper rod that attaches to the lower auger part. Two bolts are used. But the diameter of the bolts is a bit too small, causing the top part to rattle against the lower part. This doesn't affect the use.They nicely provided an open end wrench to tighten the bolts - but it was of the wrong size. It worked, but the wrench was a sloppy fit on the nut.

Handy that this comes with a carrying bag and tools. However, not sure how many people will be disassembling it to carry it around with them. Also, the bolts are a little undersized for the holes so it feels very "sloppy". I don't like that. I went and got the next size up bolts, lock washers, and nylock nuts. That tightened it up alot. The soil already has to be semi-loose for this to work. Not a true drill. I have hard compacted soil that I was hoping to drill down a couple feet, and add compost. Not possible. I have a big industrial drill so that wasn't the issue. It just wasn't pulling itself forward. Maybe you could sit on the drill to force it into the soil, but I have hundreds of holes to dig to just went with a different drill. Would be great for planting bulbs or amending if your soil is already decent.The customer service for this product was outstanding. After reading my review they offered several suggestions and resolutions. For this level of customer service alone it's 5 stars. I appreciate that they followed up with me and wanted to make it right.

Quality of the actual auger was good only problem was the full used to join the two pieces together was cheap and it ended up breaking probably an hour into using the auger I ended up having to find my own bolt and nut to replace the one they had and now it works even better speed was good functionality was good ease of use was fine planting ability was all right. But if I didn't have to have a problem with the hardware then I would have given it a five star.

I was manually digging holes for poles in my yard and thought there must be a better way. Eureka! I found this. I am so upset that I didn't find it years ago. Previously, I had been digging holes that were too big because of my shovel side and pole diggers were hard to use. This ended up being perfect and allowed me to go very deep without much work and I was able to dump cement and my poles in the ground so quickly.The only negative is that you really have to use two hands to hold the drill because otherwise, you may end up twisting your wrist like I stupidly did!

We needed to put two 3†pipes under our 9’ wide driveway for irrigation and drainage. This auger was absolutely necessary and made completing this job possible. Although the included auger extension isn’t long enough to go fully under our driveway, we used a 10’ 3/8†rebar to extend the auger to reach the full distance. We couldn’t have tackled this project if it wasn’t for this auger.
