These work on the 2025 model year which is what I have. Works as it should. These things have been around for a while. It’s essentially just a capacitor that acts as a button push, which is why it takes a couple of seconds to work after starting your car.Don’t rip your whole center console and dash apart. Take the included spudger and pry the climate control out. Then look above where the switch is, there is a little cutout where you can insert the spudger and push the switch needed out. Unplug, then install the bypass device. When you reassemble the bypass device is a tight fight, but pushing it in with some force will work without breaking anything. Test first before putting back together.Don’t be afraid to be aggressive when prying the climate control out (or any automotive panels for that matter). You do more harm when trying to be careful than using a quick motion with force. The plastic clips will be fine.Cheap and simple solution for a “feature†nobody asked for.

Fairly easy to install after watching videos online. Works perfectly. Don't have to push the disable button every time you start the engine.

We got a 2024 rav4 and the start stop is annoying. I do mostly city driving so it was a frequent annoyance.Super easy to install and as worked 100% flawlessly for us.

I installed according to the instructional video and it failed to make the default to off. This is a circuit so easy an orangutan could have built it and yet this sad little piece of junk is not functional.

The plug elimininated the auto start function just as advertised. I did not receive the the plastic tool for removing the pannels however and this made installation just a bit more difficult.Its been in the car now for 3 weeks as of this review and It does eliminate the auto start on my 2021 Rav4. However, if we get in the car and buckle our seat belts before we start the engine, it does not turn off the auto start. We have to start the car first, then buckle the seat belts and it works just fine.This was a little fustrating at first since it seemed that it was only working sometimes. I have duplicated this result, and can confirm that we do have to start the car first, then buckle the seat belt and it works perfectly.

Have used for a couple of months with no issues on my 2023 RAV4, I think it has failed to work once in all that time and I'm guessing it was something I did that caused it not to activate. Easy to install just need to remove the air control panel and then pop the button out from the back, no need to disassemble the entire center console, putting the module though the button hole was a bit tight but it is doable. It was installed in less than 3 minutes and that was me being careful I did not break the air control panel when popping it out. This has solved the one major issue I had with the RAV4 and I could not be happier.

Installed this device to get away from constantly resetting the START STOP feature. Easy to install after watching the U Tube video. Works fine, and no more resetting the button on every startup.
