2004 Accord Coupe with P0498 CEL code;I figured the part was cheap, so I ordered without much diagnostics.Installation took longer than expected. maybe an hour, had to be gentle with brittle gas line connectors, and the mounting bracket bolts were rather inconveniently placed. But new unit bolted in place without fuss, and after driving for a few miles the code went away on its own. Fairly satisfied with price, and seems to work just as well as any OEM.

Seems that there's a couple complaints about it not lasting long so I bought it instead of unmounting the one that was in there I just connected the hoses to this one and let it lay there just to see how long it would work so if it didn't I could return it and work in 3 months now I need by anybody buys one instead of taking out the small bolts then installing this one just put it over to hoses and let it stay in there a couple weeks if it works then you can mount it it's my opinion

Soon as I installed it started making clicking noise. One of those you get what you pay for. Trash!!

Lasted for 3 months which was expected. I'd say this. If you're trying to permanently fix a p0496 code or anything related to a faulty purge valve (pv) and you can't afford an oem pv or at least something better than the quality of this product, just get this for the time being. When you're able to get an oem or better product, swap em out.

Had a check engine light come up a month before inspection expired. Mechanic wanted hundreds and I was in a jam. Took a chance and it cleared the engine fault light. Was a bit challenging to replace on my 2004 Honda Element, but I managed.

I've heard of some of these failing after a short period of time. However, mine immediately fixed my check engine light and has been working for a few months now. If it fails early I will update my review. These are tough and time consuming to replace. I recommend get some engine degreaser and degreasing the area before starting. Otherwise, it can be difficult to find the bracket bolts, etc. that need to be removed/loosened.

I should of listen to the previous posters, lasted only 50 days, and while it worked it made some clicking noise under the hood. Then got stick in the open position throwing a Check Engine Light EVAP P0452 and was hard to start the car afer filling gas since EVAP needs a closed system after filling the tank. I went back to OEM for my 2006 Honda Accord, wasted my time.
