You put it together you have to stick your hand into the thing so takes a bit to install it. But once put together it works fine. The only thing if the chickens step on the watering cup they can turn it so it will spill water. But you just twist if back.

Looks good and durable. My friend raises chickens and I gave this to her as a Christmas gift. Not sure if it works.

I have used many watering systems for my chickens. This one is terrible. Leaked all over, cups leak, float is cheap and doesn’t actually work. Even with the teflon tape it does not hold water. Beware.

I’m going to be honest here, a man with large hands could not put this together. Even me with my smaller hands now have blisters and scrapes on my wrists from trying to put the thing together. It appears to hold water. It is plastic so I’m sure in the winter care will have to be given not to hit it. Won’t buy again.

Thought it would be bigger, get the self filling... 3 gallons isn't that much for 21 chickens...I LOVE IT!

Added auto water to the bucket area. Big lids allow you to add supplements and ice to help with cooling only downfall is the cleaning of the cups
