After 20+ years of daily cleaning the water bowls for our dogs, we got tired, and the water we emptied was gross. This automatic water bowl is perfect. It is well made and if you adjust the water level lower, there is very little to clean. No more lugging buckets of water and the water is always clear.

I had a small water leak at the main connection, once I applied a rubber gasket the leak stopped. The water valve is leaking which causes the water to overflow onto the ground. Its a slow leak but very annoying.* Replace valve was sent and now this valve world great.

This bowl and the system work flawlessly. Easy to install. Easy to set the float level. Quality product.My issue with this system, is it metal. Not sure if a plastic version would be better in super hot weather either. I think its better suited for a shaded location. The weather has been so hot, the water is too hot for the dogs. I was thinking about loosening the drain screw, but my only location has the bowl in direct sun light. The feeder hose is also in direct sunlight. I don't/haven't come up with a plan to reduce the heat for the water... Guess we wait for cooler weather.

I just don't understand how this is actually a thing... You are designing and selling a animal watering trough designed to attach to a garden hose... and a float valve that's supposed to shut off the water. Unit is clean and well built, but it friggin leaks. I just don't have time for this roulette.

They leak badly, not worth the money or the time spent putting them up. Do not waste your money on this.
