Just got a JK with a warn winch but no control. Replacement over a 100 dollars... Got this remote and was easy to wire, winch is now working and was able to help someone in the trail already. Good buy! ðŸ˜

Perfect replacement for wireless controller, pulled out old controller , snipped wires and reconnected to new wireless controller , controller was same size so fit in box nicely and all wires went back into proper place even after using wire nuts to secure connections. Installed batteries into 2 controllers and both functioned normally . Took about 15 -20 minutes from start to finish .

Don't waste your money, I hooked it up and all it did was make a click noise, winch did not work but it works with the original switch but I wanted a remote.

Absolutely incredible value ! I added this to an old winch who's electrical wiring was not working and says he wired remote would not work so now it is upgraded and wireless and works perfectly. Excellent value

I couldn't find the answer to this so I got a set .. opened the remote and there is an EV1527 chip in there, a lot like your standard "learning code" garage openers. So nothing fancy here and it does work. I did not see a button or anything in the "manual" about learning/pairing a new remote but I did not take apart the receiver part to see what's inside.I chose to "wire" this as an external module to my winch which plugs in where the hand held controller would plug in .. this way, it can only work if I am actually using the winch and the rest of the time (most of the time), it'll be packed away with the rest of my gear). The wiring is really simple ... +12 and GND to the red and black .. and the other 2 wires get 12v when you press the corresponding button.

I've had this for over 2 yrs now and working great. Remote has only 2 activation wires for activating equipment solenoids for winches. This can be used for dump trailers as well that need 3 activation wires for pump solenoids. White wire connects to trigger wire (post 86) of solenoid one and continues to up solenoid, Yellow wire connects to trigger wire (post 86) of solenoid two and continues to down solenoid, the 2 blue solenoid activation wires (post 87) connect together and goes to starter solenoid activation post, the 2 red solenoid wires (post 30) connect together and goes to positive battery, the 2 black solenoid wires (post 85) connect together and goes to battery negative.

Came quickly and I fitted today. The remotes are made of hard plastic and had the batteries fitted. The clips needed attaching by removing and refitting two small crosshead screws. A slip of paper, laughingly called an instruction manual gave the colours of the wires and then what they should be attached to. The manual, did not say which wire related to OUT or IN on the remote.I have a Can Am Commander 2017 and I wired it into the dashboard rocker switch loom as follows.Red - Red/Black - switched liveBlack - Black - EarthYellow - Green/Blue - INWhite - Light Blue - OutAfter fitting, I had full remote function from the full distance of the winch rope, 15m. Pressing a button and releasing gives about 2 seconds of winding. Keeping the button pressed gives continuous winding in or out.Both remotes checked and worked correctly.In all pretty simple to fit and worked correctly and I now have a wire free remote on my factory fitted winch, a lot, lot cheaper than buying one from Can Am
