Bought this to clean the roof of my trailer off, I had been using a ladder and a broom. Now I can safely stay on the ground and clean the roof off my trailer before I pull away.

I have a 12 ft high, low pitched roof that is hard to reach with other rakes. The unique bend on this one makes the difference I needed. It was easy to assemble. The light weight poles are made of fiberglass but the length and total weight of the tool make it a bit of a challenge to maneuver - attention and patience is required. It did a good job of removing snow from my roof, approximately 2 ft at a time as instructed - I was able to peel off about 6 ft total with repeated attempts. I thought I heard a tiny crack in one pole section but didn’t see any damage - time will tell. It costs about 4 times its main competitors. I couldn’t find any other products with the bend I needed so I got it but the price seems unfairly high given the materials used to make it.

Like any roof rake there's some goods and bads here. I have a very low pitched entry way roof that I can't use a regular roof rake on very successfully for more than just a couple feet up the edges. So I got this beast. It reaches up there just fine but it his cumbersome and heavy to use. Also when you get to the edge of the roof you loose some of the mechanics because of the angle of the rake. You are pulling down much of the raking of the roof and can't really do that at the edge. You n eed to pull out and it does not work well for that. So I pull stuff to the edge and use another rake to pull it off. I agree with others when they say the plastic has some limitations too. You have to take very very small bites of snow with this or it just overwhelms it and it gets stuck. and when it's already awkward to use... obviously that's an issue. So basically it's a good sometimes rake for me. I used it when it's warm and I have time to do some bigger snow pulling but for an every day unit I use a regular rake.

Avelanch Big Rig Rake is something I've needed for years. This product is well made. You can clear snow from the yop of 18 wheeler trailers while standing on ground.Read instructions.Dont take too big of a bite. The shovei part is plastic. If they made it out of steel it would be harder to lift and use.I'm happy with this product.

Light weight, and easy to assemble, time will tell on durability. Expensive item.

When I first got it I thought it was great first used it on light snow a couple of inches deep. then we had heavy wet snow that egged out the holes in the poles. On the last storm of 2023 we had heavy snow and rake cracked. For the $180. I spent I was hoping for more than 1 year of use.

This product is good. However, it is just sturdy plastic and extremely expensive. There are other products comparable or better at half the price. I wish I would have learned that before I spent almost $200 on this one.

Does exactly what it says. After fitting pieces togethervit is flimsy, and you have to takes smaller areas at a time but if you work from the edge towards the middle this thing works awesome. I tried to get one last winter but it was sold out everywhere so it was nice to see it available. A little pricey but well worth it if it lasts a few winters. I cleared about 3 feet depth off my box truck of snow that drifts off the roof.

Reaches the top of the trailer easy enough, but there’s not enough lateral strength to pull the snow off sideways unless it’s very light snow.A trailer that sat through a heavy snow will be difficult to clear.

We use this to clear off our business Transit van which is very tall. This cleaned off the snow easily, including off the talk front windows. And we're not going to impede anyone else with show falling off our vehicle. Highly recommend
