This stand comes with tons of small poles that need to be screwed together. It’s not difficult to assemble but it is time consuming. It’s sturdy once up even though it’s lightweight. It’s compact bc of the small pole size and the carrying bag is small. However I prefer the telescoping style as it’s way quicker to put up and take down. I returned this one because of that.

I ordered this as an alternative to another stand I have that is a little on the flimsy side (though extremely quick and easy to assemble). It is very nice and very sturdy, but it is also very tedious to put together. I don't even want to know how difficult it might be if someone removed all the numbered stickers (or if they fall/wear off). That said, it is quality and I love that it comes with a storage bag (though it has to be completely disassembled to fit the pieces in).

I'm pretty glad I found this Backdrop Stand! It came with a lot of pieces to put together, however, the instructions were great and when I was done I had one awesome sturdy adjustable Backdrop Stand!I currently have my computer in a walk-in closet, that means any online meetings had folks seeing my wardrobe. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner, but putting up a backdrop behind me is perfect. I already had some tropical backdrops we had used for a party. I dug one out, hung it on this stand and, complete privacy for the things around me! The stand moves easily when I'm done without any problems.I will definitely use this for a variety of backdrops for photos, especially with the holidays coming up. Would recommend!

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but the stand definitely was the most overwhelming, confusing item I’ve ever purchased for photography. After 30 minutes and trying to figure out what went with what, I gave up. Either it was missing parts, poorly made or just made no sense whatsoever. This was not easy to assemble at all. It was nice to be included backdrop clips, but it makes sense why they added some extra stuff, so that way you would lose focus on the fact that this thing is absolutely impossible to put together
