Cuts very well with little chatter. Smooth. I used it on a 14 pt saw with great results. Worth the price!

They cut medium sk5 steel without much trouble if you grind at the right speed and angle. I used it to sharpen blunted japanese saw teeth. If you get it right it leaves a nearly polished finish with a minimal burr. Stays sharp and doesn't appear to have any streaks yet (blunting). Cuts efficiently at a very specific angle that can be hard to get right; common to all single cut files. Being slim as it is makes it much harder to get the right angle and can be limiting in tight spaces.I wish Bahco made a feather file and a fine second cut version of the taper files.

Bought this on recommendation from Youtuber. Cuts well and I'm hoping the long life is good as the recommendation.

Perfect file for filing a teeth on a dovetail saw (rip cut). Cuts clean with little effort, and comes with a handle.

This is a perfectly competent triangular file, but note that this is NOT a five-pack, as the Amazon listing says, but a single file.
